FAQ's

What is cold processed soap?

Cold processed soap is the process of combining oils and sodium hydroxide (lye) without using heat. This process keeps the oil benefits in their most natural state, and prevents stripping and drying of the skin that typical detergent soaps do.

What is lye?

Lye is a sodium bonding agent used in soap to bind, cure, and harden the bar. While it is caustic on its own,  the chemical reaction is necessary to turn oils into soap and harden, and you cannot make soap without it.

What if I have allergies?

It is important that if you have allergies, you check the ingredients listed for each bar to ensure the soap is right for you.

How long will my bar last?

Depending on use, a typical body bar can last upwards of 4-6 weeks with regular daily use. A facial bar can last much longer.

You can easily cut your bar into smaller sizes to fit your individual needs, and expand the life of your bar.

To preserve the length and integrity of your bar, it is highly recommended that you use a draining soap dish to ensure that your soap doesn't end up mushy and soggy.

Your soap will typically have a lifespan of up to one year.

What is your return policy?

Due to the nature of the product, all sales are final and a return is not possible. It is very important to check the ingredient list on each bar before purchase to ensure this product is right for you.
